India’s star Bhalafenk player Neeraj Chopra finished first in the Mains Javalin throw event of Paris Diamond League 2025. Neeraj defeated the nearest rival Julian Weber of Germany at the event held in Paris on 20 June (Friday). Neeraj was defeated by Weber in the last two tournaments, but now he has avenged those two defeats.
In the Paris Diamond League, Neeraj Chopra threw 88.16 meters in the first attempt, due to which he went to the forefront and maintained the lead till the end. Then Neeraj covered a distance of 85.10 meters in the second attempt. Neeraj’s third, fourth and fifth attitude was foul. Whereas in the sixth attempt, he threw 82.89 meters.

On 16 May, Doha Diamond League defeated Neeraj Chopra by Julian Weber in 2025. Julian Weber then secured the first place by throwing the last throw 91.06 meters. Neeraj was second with a throw of 90.23 meters. Then Weber also defeated Neeraj in the Januz Kusosinki Memorial Competition held in Poland on 23 May. In Januz Kusosinki Memorial Competition, Weber threw 86.12 meters and Neeraj threw a throw of 84.14 meters.

While 7 to stay in the second place, 7 to be at number three and 5 points to be at number four. The Diamond League 2025 is to be concluded on 27 and 28 September through the Diamond League final in Zurich. The winner of the Diamond League Final will get the Diamond Trophy.
