The Supreme Court demanded a reply from the Center, National Commission for Medical Commission (NMC) and others on Tuesday (February 4, 2025) on a petition with a renewed counseling of All India Kota (AIQ) Phase-3 of NEET-PG 2024.

The petition filed on behalf of Advocate Tanvi Dubey stated that the petitioners are upset with the conflict in the AIQ and the state quota counseling program. It said that many candidates got a chance to register and get a seat in AIQ Phase-3 from the state quota, which were unworthy to register for AIQ Phase-3.
The petition said that when the counseling of the state phase-2 started, they had the option to select the AIQ seat when they got a better seat in state counseling. It said, ‘This led to serious bias for the petitioners and other candidates of them, as they were deprived of the seats that the candidates related to the state, whose phase-2 counseling had not started earlier. ‘
The petition said, ‘If AIQ Phase-2 had been held after the state phase-2 counseling in all states, then a group of candidates got seats in AIQ Phase-3 and later state phases There is no undue benefit of leaving it while participating in 2.
The petition claimed that the Medical Counseling Committee organized the AIQ Phase-3 counseling before the conclusion of the state’s counseling phase-2, due to which the candidates of Madhya Pradesh got the seat, where phase-2 of the state counseling was finished till then finished till then Did not happen It says that this created a situation in which many meritorious candidates were deprived of getting the seat.
