On the occasion of Janmashtami in Delhi, there has been great negligence in security and system. Police Commissioner SBK Singh, who came to take stock of the arrangements made at the ISKCON temple in Outer North district, received many flaws. During this time many policemen were not found on their duty.
In view of the seriousness of the case, the department has taken immediate action and suspended eight policemen. The suspended policemen include an inspector rank officer. According to the information, the disappearance of policemen during a big event like Janmashtami is considered to be heavy negligence.

The commissioner expressed strong displeasure with the officials present on the spot and ordered a departmental inquiry against the policemen found negligent. At present, apart from the eight policemen who have been suspended, many more policemen were absent from their posts.
The police department is now investigating their reasons and further action will be taken if the situation is clear. On Janmashtami, there is a huge crowd at ISKCON temple and other religious places, in such a situation, the police is responsible for the security system. After this negligence, the police department has given a clear message that negligence in duty will not be tolerated.
