‘Negligence in resolving public grievances is unforgivable’, CM Yogi said in review meeting

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that negligence in solving public grievances and problems is unforgivable in any case. He said that every public complaint and problem being received on the medium of IGRS and CM Helpline should have a satisfactory solution in terms of complainant. The Chief Minister said that the government is accountable to the public, public interest is paramount. The satisfaction of the complainant and its feedback will be the real measure of the performance of the authorities. CM Yogi held a review meeting through video conferencing with all Mandalayukt, District Magistrates, Police Captains, Senior Administrative and Police Officers on subjects like law and order of the state, IGRS, CM Helpline, preparations for the upcoming festivals, preparations for the upcoming festivals, flood control and health services.

CM Yogi, describing the safety of women and daughters as the top priority of the government, directed that activities of anti -Romeo squad should be done in all districts. The Chief Minister said that the new phase of ‘Mission Shakti’ will start in the upcoming Navratri, for which all the districts should make extensive preparations from now.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister issued a ranking of public grievances received on IGRS and CM Helpline at Mandalwar, district wise, tehsil, zonewar, range wise, district police and police station level. He said that a solution should be ensured with full sensitivity, respecting the spirit of every victim. Also warned that disciplinary action will be compulsorily taken against the officials who file false or misleading reports.

CM Yogi instructed the police-administration to stay on alert mode in view of the upcoming Baravafat, Anant Chaturdashi, Vishwakarma Puja. At the same time, while reviewing the districts affected by floods and overflows, he said that relief works should be made more effective. Guidance of public representatives must be taken in these. In view of the possibility of diseases during the rainy season, he instructed the municipal bodies to strengthen the immediate drainage and cleaning system of waterlogging.

Expressing serious concern over the sale of fake or inferior drugs, the Chief Minister clearly said that not a single such activity will be tolerated in the state. The administration was instructed to do continuous vigilance and strict monitoring. On this occasion, the Chief Minister asked to pay special attention to the availability of fertilizer for the kharif season.

In the meeting, preparations for the preparations for the proposed preliminary examination (PET) were also discussed by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission on 06 and 07 September. The Chief Minister was told that the examination will be held at 1479 centers set up in 48 districts, which will include more than 25.31 lakh candidates.
