Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Tuesday termed any kind of conversation with the US as “waste and harmful for the country. He clearly said that in the current situation, talks with America will be against Iran’s interests and it will prove to be “dead-end”. He also said that Iran does not need a nuclear and does not intend to make anything like this.
In his recorded message, Khamenei said that Iran will not bow down to any pressure, especially on the issue of uranium enrichment. He reiterated that Iran does not need nuclear weapons nor has any intention to produce them.

Khamenei said, “The US wants Iran to leave its missile program, including medium -distance missiles, but it will be like surrender to compromise under pressure, and no respectable nation will accept so.”
Negotiations with Britain, France and Germany will continue
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragachi had earlier said that Iran would continue consulting all concerned parties including Britain, France and Germany. In a statement issued after the meeting in New York, he made it clear that Iran wants to continue the process of negotiations to prevent the United Nations restrictions from being re -implemented.
The possibility of direct talks with America is very low now
