The Uttar Pradesh government has adopted a new strategy to curb the arbitrariness of private hospitals associated with Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Employees Cashless Medical Scheme. The government has started an investigation campaign in a confidential manner to stop the arbitrariness of private hospitals. While issuing notice to all private hospitals across the state, it has been warned to strictly follow the rules of the scheme. All the District Magistrates and Chief Medical Officers have also been instructed to increase the surveillance.

The government has taken strict steps about this that the beneficiaries of the scheme should not have any problem. Private hospitals have been told that they cannot refuse to treat any beneficiary. The move aims to maintain equality of medical services between government and private hospitals and provide timely and effective treatment to the poor and needy.
This step has been taken to ensure transparency and responsibility in hospitals under the scheme. The government has also warned private hospitals that strict action will be taken on receiving any kind of complaint. For this, a monitoring mechanism has been created in all the districts.
