Chattisgarh army jawan murder: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against one of the accused in the case of targeted killing of an Indian Army jawan in Chhattisgarh. This incident took place in February 2024. In which Indian Army soldier Motiram Achala was murdered.
The NIA has made Ashu Karsa, a resident of Bijapur Chhattisgarh, as accused in this case. A case was registered under several sections related to murder, criminal conspiracy and terror. Chargesheet has been filed in NIA’s Special Court, Jagdalpur.
Ashu Kalsa was associated with Naxalites
Investigation has revealed that Ashu Kalsa was an active member of the banned Naxalite organization CPI and was associated with Kuyemari Area Committee of North Bastar Division. Ashu and his associates together identified the soldier Motiram Achala under the conspiracy and shot him on 25 February 2024 at the fair village fair in Kanker district. This attack took place when Motiram went to the fair with his family.
In February 2024, NIA investigated
This case was earlier registered by the local police. Which NIA later took over by the NIA on 29 February 2024. It was also found in the investigation that the purpose of this murder was to create an atmosphere of fear in the area and scare the common people. Ashu was arrested by NIA in December 2024. The investigation of the NIA is still going on and other accused involved in this conspiracy are being searched.
