Nia raid in anantnag: A team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a search operation in Damhal Khosipora area of Anantnag in South Kashmir on Tuesday (February 18, 2025). The raid was headed by an officer of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP) rank. During the raid, the team seized several objectionable documents and electronic equipment.
Sources confirmed the raid, saying that this action was taken at the house of Muzaffar Ahmed Wani alias Sarfaraz Wani, son of Gul Mohammad Wani. Wani was already arrested by Bihar Police in connection with FIR No. 229/2024 lodged at East Champaran, Motihari police station.
Case registered under these sections
According to sources, in the case 317 (4), 318 (4), 61 (2), 338, 337 (3), 340 (2), 111, 1178, 179, 180, 181 and Bihar National Security (BNS) Act Several sections including Section 3/5 are included. After the arrest, the case was handed over to the NIA, which has now registered it under Case No. 17/24/NIA/DLI.
Investigation still continues for suspected criminal activities
At the same time, officials in the case said that the raid was part of the ongoing investigation of the suspected criminal activities related to Wani. However, more information about the findings of the search has not been given yet.
Red was also killed earlier to help terrorists
Earlier, the National Investigation Agency raided three places in Jammu and Kashmir in a case related to the characteristics of non -local people on behalf of terrorists in Srinagar. The National Investigation Agency had raided the supporters of the resistant front and its ally in Srinagar Budgam and Sopore. What NIA was to say that it was involved in giving shelter to the suspected terrorists and helping them.
