The world has bid goodbye to the year 2024 and welcomed the New Year (2025) with full enthusiasm. This is a time to celebrate,2 leave the past behind and move forward with hope for a brighter future. Due to different time zones in different parts of the world, the new year of every country started at a different time. New Year was first celebrated in Kiritimati Island (Christmas Island). After 41 countries of the world, India also celebrated the New Year. In such a situation, leaders of different political parties have also congratulated the public on the New Year through social media.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wrote in a social media post, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the state and countrymen on the occasion of New Year. I pray to God that this New Year brings happiness, peace, prosperity, harmony and infinite successes for all of you.” The resolution of building a happy, prosperous and glorious Bihar will be fulfilled by everyone’s combined efforts.”
‘In making UP a leading state…’
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “The double engine government is committed to making Uttar Pradesh the leading state of the country. The standard of living of the people of the state is continuously improving due to the development and public welfare schemes run in the state. Double Engine Every section of the society including the poor, farmers, youth and women are getting the benefits of the government schemes.”
He further said, “The ‘New Uttar Pradesh of New India’ is playing its meaningful role in carrying forward the heritage and development. There is full confidence that in the year 2025, Uttar Pradesh will do double duty to take the state on the path of prosperity and development. The engine will give more momentum to the government’s efforts.”
Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav said, “May the New Year come, make everyone happy and bring happiness, prosperity, satisfaction, health and harmony in everyone’s life.”
LPG cylinder became cheaper on the first day of the year
New prices of 19 kg LPG cylinder have been released on the first day of the year i.e. 1 January 2025. According to the updated price on the website of IOCL, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has now become Rs 1804 from January 1 in the capital Delhi (LPG Price In Delhi), which was Rs 1818.50 on December 1. That means the price of one cylinder has decreased by Rs 14.50. Its prices have changed not only in Delhi but also in other metros of the country.
