Speaking in the House today, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that when the terrorist attacks on the country took place, the entire opposition unitedly stood with the government. He said that at that time the Congress had supported the government unconditionally, so that the country could stand against terror with unity. On this, BJP President and Union Minister JP Nadda said that ‘such an operation did not happen after independence’.
Kharge further said that the terrorists who killed our people are still absconding. He raised the question as to why they have not taken action yet.
In his speech, Kharge also expressed displeasure over the statement of US President Trump. He said, “The US President has said 24 times that he meditated in stopping the war in India. This is derogatory for our country.”
