Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Chennai has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Vipul Joshi, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ideaforge Technology Limited. The court took this action because he did not appear in the court and could not even submit the necessary bail. & Nbsp;
Court expressed strong displeasure
fake guards also sent jail
Advocate Tom Wilfred of Chennai told this, "On 4 March 2025, the accused were given clear instructions to fulfill the conditions of bail by 1 April, but CFO Vipul Joshi did not come to the court and the rest of the officials resorted to fake gardeners, who did not even know the name of the company. The court considered it a serious fraud and made it clear that if this was done from the future, then the fake borders will also be sent to jail."& nbsp;
However, the court has given the rest of the officers the last chance by 4 April 2025 to present the real guarantor. The bail of the family member of an accused has been considered valid by the court. This case is related to cybercrime. Ideaforge had supplied 15 drones (UAVs) to a customer for 2.2 crores, but it is alleged that the company itself hacked these drones and disabled the customer’s business and his image. & Nbsp;
The drone of this customer was working in government projects worth Rs 70 crore, but his entire project was affected due to hacking. & nbsp; In this case, on 31 August 2023, the Chennai Cybercrime Police registered an FIR including sections of fraud. Ideaforge first tried to cancel the FIR in the Madras High Court, but their petition was dismissed on 31 January 2025. The Supreme Court also refused to stop it.
