Pakistan is shocked by the cancellation of the Indus Water Agreement after the Pahalgam terror attack. Meanwhile, on Saturday, Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Indus Water Agreement with Pakistan will never be restored. On this, former Pakistan Foreign Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has again given India to war. On Monday, he said that India should either share water in a fair manner or else Pakistan will take water from all six rivers of the Indus river system.
The Indus Water Agreement was signed between India and Pakistan in 1960, under which India got control over the water of Ravi, Sutlej and Vyas rivers and Pakistan got authority over the water of Jhelum, Chenab and Indus river. These rivers go through India to Pakistan and when the Pakistan Sponsor terrorists attacked and killed 26 people in the Basaron Valley of Pahalgam on 22 April, India canceled the agreement.
India targeted terrorists in the illegal occupied Kashmir (POK) of Pakistan and Pakistan, claiming Pakistan responsible for the attack. There was a ceasefire after a four -day fight between the two countries. Despite the ceasefire, the Indus Water Agreement is still suspended, which is clearly visible to Pakistan.
Home Minister Amit Shah said in an interview to The Times of India that the Indus Water Agreement with Pakistan will remain suspended.
He said, ‘We will stop the water going to Pakistan through Rajasthan and stop it by building a dam. Pakistan will crave water.
Bilawal again gave India a jackal of war
Pakistan was shocked by this statement of the Home Minister and its Foreign Ministry issued a statement criticizing his statement.
After this, speaking in the Parliament of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto said, ‘India has two ways- either they share the water with us in a fair manner or we will take water of all six rivers.’
Bilawal further said, “Attack on Indus and claim India that the Indus Water Treaty is over, it is illegal, because the Indus Water Treaty is not postponed, both Pakistan and India are obliged to accept it and threatening to stop water is illegal according to the United Nations Charter.”
Pakistan’s Bilawal, who has lost India in the recent war, threatened Kori and said that if India decides to implement its threat, Pakistan will fight again.
Along with this, Bilawal said that peace is not possible without cooperation between the two nuclear neighboring countries, especially in the field of terrorism. He warned, “If India and Pakistan refuse to negotiate and there were not a table on the issue of terrorism, then violence will increase further in both countries.”
Bilawal also appealed to a fresh interaction between Pakistan and India to prevent regional instability. He said, ‘We are fighting not only for the people of Pakistan but also for the people of India.’
