Telangana bjp chief: The notification of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) presidential election in Telangana has been released on Friday (27 June 2025), while the voting has been scheduled to be held on 1 July. Meanwhile, Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh has issued a statement presenting his claim for the post of party president.
Raja Singh said, “I will also demand the post of president. He or not to give it, it is up to him. I have been associated with the Hindu Vahini since 1995 and continued to be the post of physical chief till 2009. When BJP did not give me a municipal ticket in 2009, I won by contesting from Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Stayed in jail for 77 days, I know that I will not give this position, but I will decide after the nomination starts.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s term ending in July
The term of BJP’s current state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar is ending in July. According to party sources, the names of many senior leaders for this post are in discussion, in which former MP and party’s National Vice President D.K. Aruna, former MLA M. Raghunandan Rao and former Minister N. Indrasen Reddy includes.

Raja Singh’s statement exposes the differences arising within the party once again. However, the party leadership has not yet supported any candidate.
