Foreign Minister S. Jayashankar, while addressing the fourth Kautilya Economic Conclave in Delhi, described the current global scenario as contradictory and said that today the activities of risking risk and risks are taking place simultaneously, which has raised challenges in front of policy-makers.
He said that today the nature of weapons and war has changed basically. We have seen such in many conflicts, such as Azerbaijan-Armenia, Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Iran. War is now being fought as a contactless war, which is used by stand of vapans. Their results can be very impressive, sometimes decisive. In many parts of the world, the tendency to protest against globalization is continuously increasing.
He said that in fact, many incidents are now affecting the global economy at the same time and due to this a contradictory situation is arising today. On the one hand, these are the same factors that encourage more risk. But on the other hand, in view of its results, efforts are being made to reduce the risk in every aspect of politics and economy.
Jaishankar said on Indo-US relations that there are some issues between us and America today, mainly that we have not yet reached any concrete result in our business conversation. For this reason, some tariffs have been imposed on us, which we have publicly misunderstood. Apart from this, there is also a dispute related to another tariff to buy energy from Russia, while other countries whose relations with Russia are more opposed to us, they have also done so. The solution to all these issues is necessary and we are actively working on them.
Let me tell you that this year the theme of Kautilya Economic Conclave was ‘looking for prosperity in the upheaval filled time’. This time, around 75 delegates from more than 30 countries participated in the conclave.
