Chief Minister A.K. on Friday in Hyderabad Revanth Reddy held an important meeting with Vice Chancellor (VC) of all the universities of the state. In this meeting, he clearly said that universities will have to find new ways to work in the interest of students, so that students can get such studies that can help them get good jobs and their future is better.
Hyderabad Chief Minister A.K. Revanth Reddy held a review meeting with the Vice Chancellors of all universities at the ICCC on Friday. The CM stressed that universities owned by the state should create an eco system where students from the poor family of the village can get better education to make their career and make a bright future.
Start the course according to the job market
CM told Vice Chancellors that new and modern courses should be started by closing old and useless courses in universities. These courses should be such that there is a demand in the job market, so that students can easily get jobs. He said that poor and rural students study in government universities, who do not have much money. These students should also get the same opportunities that children of rich houses are found in private universities.
‘Rehabilitation centers’ not made for university professors
CM Revanth Reddy clarified that the university should not be a ‘rehab center’ (rehabilitation center) for professors in any situation. All educational activities should be in the interest of students.
Government ready to remove deficiencies
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellors of various universities put the shortage of teachers, shortage of buildings and other basic problems in front of the CM. On this, the Chief Minister assured that the government will provide the necessary money to overcome these problems. The CM directed the Vice Chancellors of all universities to hold a meeting and the advisor to the state government. Together with Keshav Rao, discuss all the problems and submit a report to the government.
