NSA Ajit Doval meets Chinese Foreign Minister, discussion on combating terrorism – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang NSA DOVAL CALLS For Counting Terrorism NTC

China (China) Foreign Minister Wang Yi met India’s National Security Advisor and India’s Special Representative Ajit Doval on the China-India border issue in Beijing on Monday. Wang said that China and India should walk on the direction of good neighbors and friendship, should try mutally beneficial and for the possibility of victory, should demonstrate the historical knowledge of two ancient civilizations, handle sensitive issues properly and maintain peace and harmony in areas around the border.

The visit is being seen as part of the major effort by both sides to restore general conditions in bilateral relations after the military deadlock started in East Ladakh in May 2020. These trips are an important step in India-China relations, which have been tense since the 2020 military deadlock in eastern Ladakh. Both countries are working towards restoring general status and trust through diplomatic engagement.

NSA Ajit Doval emphasized the need to counter all types of terrorism for regional peace and stability during the meeting. About one and a half months ago, Doval’s call for terrorism came after India on the morning of 7 May in Pakistani areas after making accurate attacks on nine terrorist structures.

‘Need to promote overall development …’

NSA Doval is visiting China to attend the conference of the top National Security Officers of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). It is an impressive regional group, which focuses on security related issues. Doval and Wang also discussed various aspects of India-China relations amidst the efforts of the two sides to recreate the tension in serious stress after the East Ladakh border deadlock.

The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said that the two sides reviewed the recent developments in India-China relations and underlined the need to promote the overall development of relations, including promoting maximum connectivity among the people.

According to Chinese messenger Ju Faihong in India, Wang said that there has been some positive progress in the China-India relations and it is necessary that both sides increase communication, create mutual trust and work towards solving practical issues.

‘Should maintain peace-welfare …’

Zoo Faihong said in a post on social media, “Only the result of victory and elephants can be dancing together. China and India should properly handle sensitive issues and maintain peace and harmony in the border areas.”

The ambassador said, “Doval said that India is ready to strengthen cooperation with China in multilateral regions and fully supports China’s role as a rotating chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in hosting a successful summit.”

He said that two major Asian nations can contribute even more to India and China International Community. “

The Ministry of External Affairs said that Doval and Wang also exchanged views on other bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest. It said, “The NSA said that he is eager to meet Wang Yi in India on a convenient date for the 24th round of Special Representative (SR) talks.”

China is hosting the SCO conference in his capacity as the current president of the group.
