Iran’s President Masood Pipeskian said on Thursday (September 25) that his country should guarantee that Israel would not attack its nuclear bases. Only then Iran can consider normalizing its nuclear enrichment program and energy production.
‘Who will guarantee us?’
In an interview to Fox News, when Page Serkeian was asked if Iran would reduce its uranium enrichment level, he said, ‘Who will guarantee us that Israel will not destroy our nuclear facilities by attacking on its own?’ In the UN General Assembly this week, Poraskian said that Iran will never try to make a nuclear bomb.
Britain’s UN messenger said on Friday (26 September) that the United Nations sanctions on Iran would be re -implemented from Saturday. The preamble of the Security Council brought by Russia and China to postpone them failed. After this, Tehran warned that western countries will be responsible for its results.
‘UN restrictions may worsen situations’
This decision of Western countries can further increase tension with Tehran. Iran has already said that if the restrictions are re -imposed then a strong answer will be given and the situation may deteriorate. In a conversation with journalists and analysts, Poraskian made it clear that Iran does not intend to exit the NPT-Non-Proliferation Treaty despite these United Nations restrictions.
Netanyahu protested
Iran’s economy is already struggling with heavy sanctions, which was re -implemented by US President Donald Trump in 2018 after breaking the nuclear agreement. Earlier on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday that the world should not allow Iran to re -establish its nuclear and military programs. In June, Israel, along with the US, bombed Iran’s nuclear bases.
‘Iran has full right to promote uranium’
At the same time, Tehran says that he has full right to promote uranium, as is to all member countries of the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Treaty (NPT), provided nuclear technology is used only for peaceful purpose. On the contrary, Israel is not a member of NPT and is believed to be the only country in the Middle East which has nuclear weapons.
