Oarfish found in India: Aurfish fish has appeared in Tamil Nadu, India. In Tamil Nadu, fishermen have caught a giant fish about 30 feet (9 meters) long. It is not common for this fish to meet on the beach, it is the same fish which people consider to be a sign of destruction. In scientific language it is called Regalecus Glesne. This fish is called Oarfish Fish.
A few days after this incident, this fish was also seen in the West Coast of Tasmanika, which was three meters long. Not only this, this fish was seen in June 2025 on the South islands of New Zealand. Before this, wherever this fish has appeared, there is definitely destruction. This is the reason that repeated appearance of this fish can be a sign of a big danger.
Ophish was seen just before Japan’s tsunami
Earlier, during August 2024, 12-foot was seen on the San Diago coast in California. Two days of this incident, there was an earthquake of 4.4 magnitude in Los Angeles. During this time, many videos were revealed from the city of California, in which there were cracks on the earth. Many areas of this city were seen trapped in the ground. Not only this, even before the tsunami in Japan, this fish appeared on the beach there.
Scientists believe that abnormal sea phenomena such as seismic activity, temperature change, poisoning or disease can confuse these deep sea fishes, causing them to come to the surface or leave themselves on the shore. Nevertheless, the occurrence of frequent appearances of the andfish during the earthquake cannot be completely denied and it is a matter of consideration.
How heavy is andfish?
Talking about the length of this fish, it is 36 feet and the reason is about 441 pounds. Therefore, it takes help from many people to lift it. The arrival of this fish on the surface can mean a major earthquake or natural disaster. However, scientists do not believe so. But in 2011, a few months before the devastating tsunami in Japan and the 9.0 magnitude earthquake, 20 oarfish were found dead on the beach.
