Odisha rape news: A very embarrassing case has come to light from Ganjam district of Odisha, where a 16 -year -old girl tried to commit suicide by consuming sleeping pills after her allegedly raped her drunken father. Police gave this information. Police said that the teenager is hospitalized, where he is being treated.
Police said the teenager’s father was arrested on Sunday and on Monday (June 16), a court sent him to judicial custody. Inspector PK Patra, in -charge of Digphandi police, told that on June 11, the teenager was alone in her house, during which her father raped her.
The victim eaten a large amount of sleeping pills
Police said that after the incident, the teenager ate large quantity of sleeping pills. Currently, she is struggling between life and death in MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Barhampur.
Finished of 10 thousand rupees on convict
A similar case has come up before Ganjam district of Odisha, where a special POCSO court has sentenced a father to life for life in the case of raping his minor daughter. Police sources said that the victim was the daughter of the first wife of the accused. Additional District Justice and POCSO Court Judge Pranti Patnaik has also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 to the convict. Advocate Narayan Panda gave this information. The convict father made his daughter a victim of lust in 2023. The police have arrested the convict father.
