How is roadster x electric bike:
Ola Electric founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal told in the launch event that, “Our electric scooter started from the first generation, but our first electric motorcycle is directly on the market with third-generation technology. Flat cable, in this motorcycle, flat cable, Mid-drive motor, higher battery capacity and single ABS brake by wire technology have been used. ”
Flat Cable:
Where standard wires are seen in regular motorcycles. At the same time, Ola has used the wiring of flat cable in her bike. Which not only makes the maintenance of this bike easier but also prevents any break down due to poor wiring. Bhavish Aggarwal says that, “We have reduced the load of wiring from a flat cable from 4 kg to 800 grams.”
Patent brake by wire technology:
Ola Electric has used its patented brake by wire technology in Roadster X. The company says that when the brake is applied to any normal two-wheeler, the heat (heat) is produced by the vehicle’s kinetic energy. This affects the life of break pads and also affects the mileage.
But a patent brake-sensor is being used in the brake by wire technology given in this new electric bike. This sensor not only identifies the braking pattern but also detects the emergency of the sensor braking. This technique generates mechanical braking as well as electronic braking. During this time, Kinetic Energy is converted into electricity and charges the battery. The company claims that with the help of this technology, the scooter not only gets 15% more range but also doubles the life of the scooter’s brake-pad.
