Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday promised to support Iran on all international forums. He also interacted with Saudi Arabia and Qatar ambassadors on the rapidly changing situation in West Asia.
Pakistan’s Foreign Office has expressed deep concern over the severe deteriorating security situation in the area. Pak PM Sharif has committed to support Iran on every platform amidst a ceasefire declared by US President Donald Trump to end the war with Israel.
Shahbaz called Irani President
In a phone conversation between Shahbaz Sharif and Iran’s President Masood Penetorician, Sharif said that Pakistan is keeping an eye on the rapidly changing situation in West Asia. He insisted on finding solutions through dialogue and diplomacy for peace restoration.
‘We with Iran on every stage
Shahbaz Sharif said, ‘Pakistan will continue to support Iran on all diplomatic forums including the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC). Also appeals to all parties to follow the principles of international law and United Nations Charter.
Iran expressed gratitude to Pakistan
Iran’s President Peacekian thanked Prime Minister Sharif for this phone call and appreciated the continuous support from Pakistan during the crisis. He also praised Pakistan’s efforts to solve a peaceful solution to the crisis.
