On the orders of CM Yogi, the campaign conducted simultaneously in all 75 districts of UP, Action on 48 thousand – CM YOGI Order All 75 Districts of UP Special Campaign Action Taken on 48 Thouse E Rickshaw Challans and Seized LCLG

On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a special checking campaign was conducted against unauthorized e-rickshaws, autos and other vehicles simultaneously in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The campaign lasted for a month from 1 April to 30 April. Joint teams of transport department, district administration and local police took to the streets and conducted intensive investigation.

A total of more than 48,000 vehicles were taken action in this one month campaign. This includes 3,784 unregistered e-rickshaw challans, seasing of 11,425 vehicles and 32,989 challans in other rules violations. A total of 36,773 challans were made in a month. The Nodal Officer of the campaign Additional Transport Commissioner (Enforcement) Sanjay Singh said that under the campaign, most of the challans have been done in Agra, Lucknow and Kanpur.

Command snatched from minors

One of the main objectives of the campaign was to ban e-rickshaw operations by minor drivers. The officials strictly checked and wherever minor vehicles were found driving, action was taken immediately. This improved the traffic system on the roads and also recorded a decrease in road accidents.

Monitoring simultaneously across the state

Transport Commissioner Brijesh Narayan Singh said that before starting the campaign, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given clear instructions that strict action should be taken in every district to make traffic smooth and safe. Even after the campaign, monitoring will continue in the entire state and immediate action will be taken if the rules are violated anywhere.

Public support

According to officials, during the campaign, the administration also got a lot of cooperation. People breathed a sigh of relief after being removed from the roads of illegal and unauthorized vehicles. There was a improvement in traffic ease in many places.
