Under Operation Sindoor, India had earlier identified 21 terrorist bases in Pakistan. Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Rahul R Singh has revealed this. He said that data was collected on the basis of technology and intelligence information, in which information was received about 21 terrorist bases, but at the last moment it was decided that only nine locations would be taken action.

Lieutenant General Rahul R Singh spoke about Operation Sindoor in FICCI’s program ‘New Age Military Technologies Organized’. After the 22 April Pahalgam terror attack, sitting in Pakistan, he was accurately attacked by attacked the camps of organizations plotting terrorist attacks against India. These camps were from Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen, in which training was given, recruitment, Terror Group’s headquarters and terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir were being carried out with these bases. These hideouts were destroyed by launching Operation Sindoor on the intervening night of 6-7 May.

On Operation Sindoor, the army had said in its press conference that during the attack on terrorist bases, special care was taken that there should be no loss of any innocent. However, Pakistan’s action was badly shocked by India’s action and in this Bokhalhat, it had tried unsuccessfully to attack military bases in many cities of India. After this military struggle that lasted 3-4 days, India agreed to the ceasefire on the insistence of Pakistan and on May 10, the ceasefire.
