Clue of Communication Device: On 11 July 2025, a Chinese satellite phone became active in Besaran, which was associated with the Pahalgam attack. After this, the army kept an eye on this phone. On July 26, suspicious activity was caught from this phone again, which was in Dachigam forest.
Intelligence information: Local nomades (nomads) said that some people are roaming in the forest. JKP and CRPF added these inputs and guessed the location of the terrorists.
Drone and Technology: 24 RR and 4 paras used indigenous drones and thermal imaging. Due to this, the heat of the terrorists hidden in the forest was caught.
Encounter: At 11:30 am on July 28, a team of 4 paras saw the tent of terrorists in Lidwas. 4 Para secretly attacked. All three were killed in a 6 -hour firing.
