In Bokaro district of Jharkhand, a youth was arrested on Wednesday for a disputed posting on social media over the Pahalgam terror attack. According to the police, accused Mohammad Naushad posted a post on the social media platform ‘X’ (first Twitter) praising Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Balidih police station in -charge Naveen Kumar said that the accused has been arrested from Milat Nagar area and he is being questioned. He said, “We took immediate action after taking cognizance of the post and arrested the accused.”

26 people lost their lives in the attack
The incident has come to light after the horrific terrorist attack on Tuesday in Basaron Valley in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people died in this attack, most of which were tourists.
Meanwhile, Sanjeev Sardar, leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and MLA from Potka Assembly constituency, has strongly condemned this terrorist attack. Describing it as cowardly, he said that it is an attack on the unity, integrity and peace of the country.

The police has appealed to avoid inflammatory or anti -national posts on social media and said that strict action will be taken in such cases.

Two arrested from Damoh in Madhya Pradesh
A case has been registered against two people in Damoh city of Madhya Pradesh for posting objectionable posts on social media. They are accused that they put such posts about the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir which could hurt religious sentiments. Damoh City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Abhishek Tiwari said that the police had been keeping a close watch on social media since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday. During this time, two such posts were seen to the Kotwali police station in -charge which had the ability to spoil communal harmony.
Taking immediate action, the police have registered a case against both persons under sections to hurt religious sentiments. The investigation of the case is going on and both the accused are being questioned.
