POK back and pay true tribute to the martyrs- Bitta

Bitta came to meet the family of Yatish Parmar and his son Smit Parmar in Bhavnagar city of Gujarat. Both of them were among 26 people killed in a terrorist attack near Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. Talking to the media after meeting the victim’s family, Bitta said, “Mumbai is a terrorist attack, an attack on Parliament or a series of bomb blasts, Pakistan has cheated India many times. Now the time has come for India to take back the PoK and pay true tribute to the martyrs. I urge the government to include PoK in India.”

Removing Article 370 and established peace in Kashmir- Bitta

He described Pakistan -sponsored terrorism as ‘cancer’ and appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to eliminate terrorism from the country. Bitta advised not to do politics on this issue and said that the opposition should stand with the Prime Minister. He said, “Gujarat has given leaders like Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to the country. Both of them removed Article 370 and established peace in Kashmir. Even though some firing incidents took place, the situation was normal.”

Referring to the Paulgam attack, Bitta pointed to the flaws in the intelligence system. He said, “Whenever I come to Gujarat, the police here remains cautious, while I have no danger here. But there was a shortage of local intelligence in Kashmir and no policemen were present there at the time of the attack, who could protect the unarmed tourists.” He said that Yatish Parmar and his son Smita along with 20 other residents of Bhavnagar had gone to Kashmir to join Murari Bapu’s discourse on 16 April.
