Pahalgam terror attack: America has openly come in support of India regarding the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He has made a strong demand to fully cooperate with Pakistan in the investigation of this heinous attack. Late night US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S.K. Jayashankar and Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif made separate talks and clarified America’s two-tuk policy against terrorism.
According to a statement issued by the US State Ministry (Department of State), US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described India as a close partner of America in this difficult time and assured to further strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries in the fight against terrorism. Also, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that America stands with India in the fight against terrorism.
Rubio’s tough tone with Pakistan
In a conversation with Pakistan, Rubio said in a very tough tone that Pakistan is responsible for impartial investigation of the attack and punishing the culprits. According to a statement issued by the US State Ministry of Department of State in a conversation with Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to cooperate in the investigation of Pakistan Pahalgam attack.
America appeals to India-Pakistan
The US appealed to the two countries to maintain regional peace and told both the Indian Foreign Minister and the Pakistani Prime Minister to talk to each other for peace in South Asia, but the way India expressed solidarity with India and demanded cooperation in investigation from Pakistan.
