The terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the whole country. 26 innocent citizens have lost their lives in this attack. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi strongly condemned the incident and demanded immediate and strict action from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a press conference after the Central Government’s decision on the caste census on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘This attack is a massacre carried out with a cold mind. This is an attack on the soul of India. Those who are responsible for this will have to pay its price. The government should not waste time.
He insisted, ‘He has to understand that this cannot be done with India. What has happened cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
‘The whole opposition is with the government’
Rahul Gandhi also said that the entire opposition stands with the government in this difficult time. He said, ‘Opposition is giving 100 percent support to the government. Now Prime Minister Modi should take decisive action. No relaxation, no delay.
Appealing to the Prime Minister, he said, ‘The action should be clean and strict. The PM should not delay anymore. The country wants an answer and this answer should be solid.
Rahul Gandhi said that the families of the martyrs said that our children have been martyred and we are being shown only drama of martyrdom. These words are very serious. They show that people’s trust in the government is staggering. So many have been killed, it is not acceptable. Those who have done this should get proper punishment for it. This cannot be done with India. The entire opposition is with the government. The PM will have to take more clear action immediately. Now no delay can go on, strict action should be taken.
