Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday released the list of players who got the Central Contract. Former captain Babar Azam and current ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan, who were excluded from the Asia Cup squad, have been placed in ‘B category’ one position.
The PCB did not actually find any cricketer to join the elite category and has placed 30 players in category ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’. The central contract will be considered effective from July 1.
Pakistan’s central contract players are as follows:
Category B (10 players): Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Fakhar Jaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Aga, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi
Category C (10 players): Abdullah Shafiq, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, Nasim Shah, Noman Ali, Sahibzada Farhan, Sajid Khan and Saud Shakeel
Category D (10 players): Ahmed Danial, Hussain Talat, Khurram Shahzad, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Salman Mirza, Shaan Masood and Sufayan Mokim.
