New Delhi. Nitin Menon, the only Indian in the umpires of the ICC’s elite panel, has refused to go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. Earlier, the Indian team refused to visit Pakistan. The Champions Trophy is to be held from 19 February. Some of its matches will be held in Pakistan while all the matches of the Indian team will be played in UAE. Nitin Menon is not named in the list of umpires for the Champions Trophy by the ICC. Match referee Jawagal Srinath will also miss the Champions Trophy.
