In Balochistan, Baloch rebels have once again launched massive attacks targeting the Pakistani army and security forces. These attacks have been carried out by the Baloch rebel groups demanding the independence of Balochistan. In many areas, Pakistani security force appeared on the backfoot and government institutions were set on fire at some places.
Attacks in four cities
These attacks were carried out in four cities- Turbat, Katch, Quetta and Panjgur. There was a grenade attack on Pakistani security forces in Tuat’s D Baloch area. The casualties or losses have not been confirmed yet. At the same time, there are reports of loud explosions and heavy firing in Buleda area of ​​Katch district. Due to limited communication in this area, detailed information has not been found.
Two grenade attacks were carried out on the posts of Pakistani army in Hazarganji and Faizabad areas in Balochistan’s capital Kota. In the Washbod area of ​​Panjgur, the CPEC highway was closed and armed men searched vehicles and the passengers were identified.
Members of ‘Death Squad’ injured
Two police vehicles were seized and the weapons present in them were captured. Apart from this, a police station was captured and set on fire. A checkpost in Bonistan region also came under control of the attackers. Some members working under the leadership of Kasim, the commander of the government -supported militia ‘Death Squad’, were reported to have been injured.
Recently there was a major armed campaign in Hoshab district, in which the rebels took control of the area. The Nadra office and Lewiz Station were burnt. Apart from this, 10 non-local citizens were taken hostage during a blockade on the M8 CPEC highway.
