Pakistan has not yet recovered from India’s air strike under Operation Sindoor. Many of the enemy’s airbase was damaged by India. Due to this, Pakistan has once again issued Notam (notice to airmen) for Rahim Yar Khan Airbase.

While giving information on the social media platform X, Osint expert Demian Syamone wrote that the notam has been released once again for Rahim Yar Khan Airbase. This is the same runway which was damaged by an air strike by the Indian Army in May 2025. Now it has been closed till 4 July 2025.

This airbase is very important for Pakistani Air Force
Rahim Yar Khan Airbase of Pakistan is considered very important for his Air Force. This airbase has suffered a lot due to the exact missile attacks of the Indian Army. The damage to this airbase is considered a major setback for the Pakistani army. The Modi government at the Center confirmed the attack, saying that the decision was taken to deactivate the military structure of Pakistan, so that the common citizens do not harm and the terrorism bases could be effectively eliminated.

A few days after Operation Sindoor, PM Modi while addressing a rally in Bikaner, Rajasthan said that Rahim Yar Khan Airbase of Pakistan is still in ICU, it will not be known when it will be fine.

Notam continues again for Rahim Yar Khan airbase
The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) had said to close the first runway for a week. The first notam was released on the evening of May 10, in which there was talk of keeping the runway closed from May 10 to May 18. However, now this time has been increased to 4 July 2025. This means that the repair of the airbase may take more time.
