Pakistan took a big decision to curb terror. The government of Punjab province banned donating more than 80 banned organizations. It also includes Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai terror attack, Jamaat-ud-Dawa (Jud) and Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF). The government urged the people not to help these organizations in any way during Ramadan and Eid.
Action under the Prevention of Terrorism Act
According to the notification of the Punjab government of Pakistan, giving any assistance to restricted organizations will be considered a crime under the Anti -Terrorism Act, 1997. Any person or institution who is found to be donating to banned organizations will be punished under the law.
List of banned organizations released
A total of 83 organizations were included in this list by the Punjab government of Pakistan. It includes terror organizations like al-Qaeda, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let), Jaish-e-Mohammed, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Lashkar-e-Zhangvi (Lej).

Give donation to gestures only
The Punjab government of Pakistan has made it clear to donate only to the organizations registered by the Punjab Charity Commission. So that this donation can reach the right people, not to the terrorists. Now it will be mandatory for religious organizations in Punjab to register with the Punjab Charity Commission.
Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, has been in jail in Lahore since 2019. He has been sentenced in many cases related to funding of terror. But according to reports, Hafiz is given VIP treatment in jail.

166 people died in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. 10 Pakistani terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba attacked many places in Mumbai. The relations between Pakistan and India deteriorated due to this incident. War -like situations arose between the two countries.
It is believed that this decision was taken by the Punjab government of Pakistan due to international pressure. Now it will have to be seen how strictly the government implements it.
