Pakistan Hindu temples news: The news of attack on Hindu temples and gurdwaras from Pakistan keeps on coming. Meanwhile, the Government of Pakistan has taken such a decision, which everyone is surprised to know. Prior to Holi, the Shahbaz government of Pakistan has allocated 30 crore Pakistani rupees for the development of temples and gurdwaras across the country. The government of Pakistan has taken this decision for beautification of temples and gurdwaras. Pakistan’s move on social media is being praised.

Allocation of budget of 30 crores for temples-gurdwaras

According to the Times of India report, Saifullah Khokhar, Additional Secretary of the Department of Evacui Trust of Pakistan, Department of Evacui Trust, said that this decision was taken in a meeting held on Wednesday (12 March 2025) at ETPB headquarters in Lahore. Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) President Ramesh Singh Arora also attended this meeting. He is also the minister of the first Sikh Minority Affairs of Punjab province. He said that a budget of 30 crore Pakistani rupees has been allocated for the construction and development of gurudwaras and temples.

What did Pakistan government say?

The Pakistani government official said that along with Holi, the 326th Khalsa Jayanti and Baisakhi Mela were focused on the arrangements of 2025, which the ETPB will conduct. Ramesh Singh Arora said that preparations for Holi and Baisakhi celebrations were reviewed. He informed that pilgrims coming to Pakistan for Baisakhi Mela will be given more facilities including medical as well as food, accommodation for living, full security.

Strict instructions issued regarding security

Ramesh Arora insisted that ETPB, all provincial and district governments will work together to ensure the success of these events. Saifullah Khokhar said that strict instructions have been issued to ensure that there should be no negligence in security and other administrative matters to the concerned departments. He also informed that the Sikh pilgrims will reach Pakistan from Wagah-Atari International Border on April 10 for the Khalsa Jayanti and Baisakhi Mela celebrations.
