Pakistan Train Hijack Police Officer Tells How Bla Siege Jaffar Express and they fought

Jaffar express hijack: The Jafar Express going from Quetta to Peshawar in Pakistan was hijacked by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) fighters on Tuesday evening. The Pakistani army freed this train from BLA late Wednesday night. All 33 attackers present in the train were killed. However, 21 hostages were also killed in it. When the train was hijacked, there were 440 passengers in it, in which a large number of policemen were also present. Now through these passengers and policemen, that dreadful scene is coming in front of everyone. In this sequence, a police officer has seen the whole eye.

The police officer told in a conversation with BBC Urdu on the condition of anonymity, how the rebels attacked the train and the policemen present in the train hit them till the last bullet.

‘They were all around, we only 75’
The police officer said, ‘The railway track suddenly exploded and the train stopped. In a few moments, fighters came out of the surrounding hills and started leaving bullets and rockets. They were all around and were seen in hundreds. We were just around 75 policemen. We also had two soldiers of Frontier Corps with us.

‘We kept them away from the train for one and a half hours’
The officer said, ‘When we saw that those people were moving towards the train, we all decided that we will stop them as long as possible. The pills were limited, so planned that they would be used properly. We opened fire one by one. We kept them away from the train for about one and a half hours. When the bullets were over, they captured the train.

The officer said, ‘BLA fighters first tied the policemen after capturing the train. Then the passengers started taking off the train. After looking at the identity card of all, he continued to work according to his plan. After this, he kept his demands from the Government of Pakistan and threatened to kill the passengers for not accepting them.

After seeing the opportunity, escaped
The police officer told how he managed to get free from the clutches of the rebels. He said, ‘After capturing the train, most of the attackers left from there. Just 20-25 fighters stopped. When some hostages tried to escape at night, the rebels blew them up with bullets. The next morning, when the Frontier Corps reached the spot and the rebels started colliding with them, we got a chance to run away here.
