Shehbaz sharif on air india plane crash: Shortly after flying from Ahmedabad Airport, the news of Air India flight AI 171 crashed going to London has raged worldwide. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief over the accident.
On the social media platform X, he said, “I am saddened by the tragic accident of Air India aircraft near Ahmedabad today. We express our condolences to the families suffering from this heavy damage. Our condolences and prayers are with all the people affected by this heart -wrenching tragedy.”
Nawaz Sharif also expressed grief
Along with Shahbaz Sharif, his elder brother and former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif also expressed grief over the incident. He said, “My heartfelt condolences to the families of precious people killed in the tragic Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad. This is beyond the devastating damage limitations and reminds us of our shared humanity. My deep condolences to Prime Minister Modi and the people of India.”

Scorched bodies appeared
The aircraft flew at 1.39 pm and crashed over the hostels of doctors and employees of the BJ Medical College and Sadar Hospital soon after. A part of the aircraft was out of the five -storey building. Eyewitness Haresh Shah said, “The plane was coming down very fast before the plane crashed. There was a bang -like sound when hitting the building and the aircraft and building caught fire.” Local residents, who first reached the spot, tried to save the passengers as well as the people present in the building. In the initial footage shot on mobile phones by the residents, the bodies of scorched bodies appeared amid the rubble.
