An official of the Manora police station said that the accused living in a village in Manor had divorced his wife and had a relationship with a 40 -year -old victim from Nalasopara in Vasai area of ​​the district.
It is alleged that on Sunday afternoon, when the victim came to the person’s house and inquired about her alleged relationship with another woman, she was enraged. The woman told the person that she would also complain against her to the police.
Police said that after this there was a sharp debate between the two and the accused allegedly beat the victim. He did not stop at this time, but he attacked the woman with marble tile. Later some people took the victim to the hospital in an injured condition where she was declared dead.
After receiving information about the incident, the police started investigation and sent the body to the government hospital for post -mortem. Police said, the accused has been arrested on Monday and Section 103 (1) (murder), 115 (voluntarily hurt), 351 (2) (criminal intimidation), 351 (3) and 352 of the Code of India Code. A case has been registered under (deliberately insulted with the intention of disturbing peace).
