Today is the second day of the monsoon session of Parliament. On the first day of the session, there was an uproar at Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor at the Rajya Sabha-Lok Sabha. On the first day, the government agreed to discuss Operation Sidun in the House amidst the uproar. Next week, this issue will be debated 16 hours in Lok Sabha and 9 hours in Rajya Sabha. - Lok Sabha postponed 4 times: The opposition created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha at Pahalgam-Operation Sindoor. Opposition parties demanded that the Prime Minister should reply on these issues as the head of the government. Due to this, Lok Sabha was postponed 4 times.
- Speaker submitted a memorandum to Justice Verma to remove: A memorandum was submitted to Speaker Om Birla regarding the removal of Justice Yashwant Verma. 145 MPs in Lok Sabha and 63 in Rajya Sabha signed impeachment motion against Verma.
- Bill of Lading Bill, 2025 Pass: Bill of Ladding Bill, 2025 passed from Rajya Sabha. It will replace the Indian Bills of Lading Act of 1856. The bill provides a firm document (Bill of Lading) for the goods sent by sea route, which proves that the goods are loaded on the ship. The bill was passed by Lok Sabha in March.
- The committee suggested on the new income tax bill: The report of the Parliamentary Committee on the Income Tax Bill was presented in the Lok Sabha. The committee suggested that the Finance Ministry should allow individual taxpayers to take TDS refunds by filing income tax returns after a fixed date without any fine. Also, anonymous donation received by the Religious cum Charitable Trust should be exempted from tax. The 622 -page bill will replace the 6 decade -old Income Tax Act 1961.
Monsoon session will run 32 days
The monsoon session of Parliament will run from 21 July to 21 August i.e. 32 days. During this time there will be 18 meetings, more than 15 bills will be introduced. Parliament will not be proceeded with the Independence Day celebrations on 13-14 August.
The central government will introduce 8 new bills in the monsoon session, while 7 pending bills will be discussed. These include bills like Manipur GST Amendment Bill 2025, Income Tax Bill, National Sports Governance Bill.
On the first day, the report of the Parliamentary Committee on the new income tax bill will be presented in the Lok Sabha. The committee has given 285 suggestions. The 622 -page bill will replace the 6 decade -old Income Tax Act 1961.

Bill of Ladding Bill 2025 passed from Rajya Sabha on the first day
The Bill of Ladding Bill 2025 has passed from Rajya Sabha after discussion on Sunday on the first day of the monsoon session.
This bill will replace the Indian Bills of Lading Act of 1856. This bill provides legal framework for issuing lading (goods letters).
Actually, when a goods is sent by the sea, a document named Bill of Lading is made with it. This document is sure that the goods have been loaded into the ship.

Impeachment motion against Justice Verma- 145 MPs of Lok Sabha signed
145 MPs in the Lok Sabha submitted a petition to Speaker Om Birla on Sunday regarding the removal of Justice Yashwant Verma. Those who signed a petition removing Justice Verma include Rahul Gandhi, Anurag Thakur, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Supriya Sule and KC Venugopal.
63 MPs of Rajya Sabha have also given notice to remove Justice Yashwant Verma.

Civil Aviation Minister said- Investigation of accident is becoming fair
Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu had said in the Rajya Sabha on Sunday regarding the Ahmedabad aircraft accident- At present, the entire truth about the accident will be revealed only after the final report of the investigation.
