Wives of ‘Patal Lok’ paying the price for the ‘sins’ of their husbands
One of the characters being talked about here is Asenla Thom. The story of ‘Paatal Lok 2’ begins with the murder of her husband, Jonathan Thom. The name of the second character is Grace Reddy. It was due to the manipulations spread by Grace’s husband Kapil Reddy that Jonathan Thom reached the position where he was murdered.

Grace once helped Asenla and in return she wants a favor for her husband. Asenla says that what Grace was doing was not helping, but she was paying the price for her husband’s sin. To this Grace’s reply comes – ‘Aren’t both of us paying the price for the sins of our husbands?’

This one line also creates a new lens to view the story of ‘Paatal Lok 2’. Where in the story of the first season, sons suffering for the actions of their fathers emerged as a theme of the show. In the new season, the wives who are sowing the seeds of their husbands become a voice coming from the darkness of the underworld. How? Let us tell through the characters of the show…

Asenla Thom (Actress- Roselle Mero)
Nagaland’s political party leader Jonathan Thom (Actor- Kaguirong Gonmei) was a big drug dealer behind the scenes. Without listening to his wife Asenla, he invested his money in the hotel business of Kapil Reddy (Actor- Nagesh Kukunoor). Asenla is still struggling to get it out.
