Will not get a chance to become a teacher
Candidates say that ‘if the STET exam is not before TRE-4, B.Ed and BTC trainee students of the session 2022-2024 and 2023-2025 will not get a chance to join this recruitment process.’
‘Students will not have the necessary eligibility to become a teacher, because without STET they will be considered disqualified to apply in TRE-4.’
A candidate wrote on social media, “Ste should be before TRE-4. When the board had asked to conduct the exam twice a year, then why is such a long gap being given now.”
Another student said, “Our complete preparation was on the hope that will be STET and we would be able to apply for TRE-4, but the government suddenly changed direction.”

Education Minister had said- Stet will be before TRE 5
However, Education Minister Sunil Kumar said that, more than 4 lakh candidates are currently qualified. When TRE 5 is 5 then the STET exam will be taken before that. If we take the exam now, then there will be a lot of late in TRE 4. We will soon send the number of vacancies for TRE 4 to BPSC.
