Government focus on electric vehicle
Nitin Gadkari said that if you are getting better facilities by paying some money, then people should not complain about it. On the question about Capex in the budget, Gadkari said that look at the budget of the last 25 years, this is common. The government has a focus on growth.
He said that the country is working fast on electric vehicles. Now electric trucks and electric buses are being made. In the coming days, China is going to export more electric vehicles than America, because prices will be low. Lithium iron battery is becoming increasingly cheaper.
He said that in the next 6 months the prices of petrol, diesel and electric vehicles will become equal, then people will shy away from taking petrol and diesel vehicles, because electric vehicles will start getting at the same price. The deficiencies of the charging station are gradually getting away, in the coming years, the complaints of the people will be removed. He also said that vehicle companies are now launching more powerful vehicles, which travel long distances in single charge.
Can Yamuna also be clean?
There are about 400 stortups in the country, which are working on electric vehicles, electric scooters are being launched at a very low price. Not only this, the prices of ethanol will also be reduced, it is going on.
Nitin Gadkari said that air pollution is a serious problem in Delhi. It is very important to reduce petrol and diesel vehicles in Delhi. A report said that the age of the people living in Delhi is decreasing for 10 years due to pollution. He said that if the work is done with true mind, Yamuna can also be clear. He informed that 6000 crore rupees were given by the center to clean the Yamuna. In this, the Delhi government had to give 15 percent. But he did not give money.
He said that it is not easy to do big work, but nothing is going to happen by crying. Income from toll is getting more than 55 thousand crore rupees. On the scraping of 10 -year -old diesel vehicles in Delhi, he said that this policy was brought keeping Delhi in mind. Because pollution is a big problem in Delhi. On the scraping of old trains, an amount is received up to 10 percent as compared to the new. He said that there are such buses in many states of the country, where the whole car is played leaving the horn. Now such a system has to be changed.
