India does not accept the ICC decision. India has appealed against the 30 percent fine imposed on captain Suryakumar Yadav. Pakistan had filed a complaint alleging political comments against Suryakumar in the ICC.
New Delhi. Asia Cup organizers said on Friday that Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was fined 30 percent of the match fees for the comments made after the group stage match against Pakistan in the tournament. The Indian captain had mentioned the military conflict between the two countries in May after this match. It is learned that India has appealed against this decision of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
On the league stage in the Asia Cup, India refused to join hands with the Pakistan cricket team during the first match. Then Suryakumar Yadav mentioned the Indian Army during the post match presentation and press conference after winning this match. On these statements, match referee Richie Richardson sought a reply from Suryakumar. The PCB had made two complaints from the ICC about Suryakumar Yadav. The ICC sent two reports on the PCB complaint to the match referee Richie Richardson, after which the Indian team was made a mail.
In what Richardson had done, it was written- ICC has sent me two reports to handle. After watching all the reports and examining the evidence, I have come to the conclusion that Surya’s statement has shocked the image of the game. This makes allegations against them.
