Punjab Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Manvinder Singh Giaspura has written a letter to the Assembly Speaker in the Pilibhit encounter case.

The issue of death of three Punjabi youths killed in Pilibhit encounter of UP has heated up. In this matter, Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Manvinder Singh Giyaspura has written a letter to Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan.

He said that the UP government should be contacted and a high-level investigation should be conducted into this matter, so that the entire truth can be revealed. On the other hand, investigation into this matter has started in UP. DM Sanjay Kumar, who is investigating the case, has given 15 days time to the families of the deceased to record their statements.

Apart from this, if any other person has any information then he will also be able to record his statement till January 3.

The three youths killed in the encounter were involved in the grenade attack on a police post in Gurdaspur. After the attack, all three fled from Punjab and went to Pilibhit in UP. Punjab Police had informed Pilibhit Police that these accused were hiding in the district.

During this encounter, police killed Jaspreet Singh, Gurvinder Singh and Virendra Singh. Police have also recovered two AK-47 rifles and two foreign pistols from them.

Case registered against three including terrorist Rinda

UP Police is investigating the encounter case. According to UP Police, all three youths killed in the encounter were associated with Babbar Khalsa International. The terrorists were helping them. One of these terrorists, Kulbir Singh alias Siddu Babbar, had helped him in getting a hotel room. Police have registered a case against Kulbir Singh alias Sidhu, Pakistan-based terrorists Harvinder Singh alias Rinda and Fateh Singh.
