Bomb threatened aircraft going from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram
There was a stir at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Thursday (August 22) after receiving a bomb threat in an Air India domestic flight going from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram. After the incident, an emergency was immediately declared at the airport. After the threat, the flight landed at Thiruvananthapuram Airport at around eight in the morning, after which the aircraft was taken to isolation bay with immediate effect. After this, the passengers were taken out safely. Due to the threat of the bomb, there was an atmosphere of fear among the people sitting inside the aircraft.
Air India flight AI504 from Kochi to New Delhi revealed technical fault during the take-off on August 17, after which the flight was delayed. Cockpit crew took the aircraft back to the bay following the standard operating proceduate.
