This tour of PM also includes two continents. The Prime Minister is going to travel to Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia in this tour. In this journey, the Prime Minister will stay in Brazil for 4 days regarding the BRICS summit.
In his tenure of 11 years, PM Modi is going on a tour of 5 countries for the second time. Earlier in 2016, he had visited 5 countries, including America, Switzerland, Afghanistan, Mexico and Qatar. This journey of PM will start from Ghana from July 2. The Prime Minister of India is going to visit Ghana after 30 years. From 2 to 3 July, PM Modi will meet the President of Ghana here and discuss the political and economic relations of the two countries.
India’s good relations with Ghana
Ghana is one of the fastest growing economy in West Asia. Also, India’s business relations with Ghana are very good. Bilateral trade between India and Ghana has reached $ 3,137.29 million, in which gold imports from India are very high. Apart from this, many companies of India have also invested a lot of money in companies like agriculture, manufacturing, construction, education, pharmaceuticals, ICT and automotive in Ghana.
After Ghana, PM will travel to this country
After Ghana, PM Modi will visit Trinidad and Tobago. About 40 to 45 percent of Indian migrants reside in Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad and Tobago have become the first country in the Caribbean region, which has approved India’s UPI platform project in its country.
On July 4, PM Modi will go from Trinidad and Tobago to Argentina. India’s total investment in Argentina is US $ 1.2 billion. PM Modi can discuss the major areas in Argentina, such as economic, defense, minerals, oil and gas, nuclear power, science.
PM Modi will stay in Brazil for 4 days
After that from July 5 to 8, the Prime Minister will be on a visit to Brazil and will attend the BRICS summit there. PM Modi is going to travel to Brazil for the fourth time in his tenure. The PM will talk to President Lula here on many issues including improvement in global level, peace and security, AI, climate change and health.
PM Modi will visit Namibia
PM Modi will reach Namibia in the last tour of his visit. PM Modi’s first visit will be in Namibia. Also, after taking over in March, Namibia President Netumbo Nandi will have the first bilateral talks with India. However, trade between India and Namibia has increased. Trade between India and Namibia has increased to US $ 600 million, which works to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
