PM Modi Ahmedabad Visit – Air India aircraft accident: 10 minutes stay on the plane crash site.

There is a wave of mourning across the country over an Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. So far 265 people have been confirmed the death. DNA samples of the families of the deceased are being taken to identify the dead bodies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ahmedabad on Friday morning. Here he went to the crash site and took stock. After this, he visited the civil hospital. Where he met people injured in the accident.

Prime Minister Modi then held a review meeting with several ministers and top officials. He instructed to investigate the accident in the meeting with the officials and speed up the DNA matching of the deceased. He met Anjali Rupani, wife of the late former CM of Gujarat Vijay Rupani.

Where the plane crash took place, Prime Minister Modi stopped for about 10 minutes and took stock of the situation. During this, top officials including Union Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu gave him a details of the incident.

Prime Minister Modi meets only the remaining passenger

A total of 265 people lost their lives in the plane crash in Ahmedabad. Out of 242 people aboard the aircraft, only one passenger, British citizen of Indian origin, Ramesh Kumar Vishwas, survivors, who are being treated in the hospital.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Vishwas in Civil Hospital and know his well being. DD News has interacted with the only passenger Vishwas Kumar who survived in this accident. During this, Vishwas has told that immediately after the aircraft flying, something strange started happening. Suddenly for 5 to 10 seconds, it felt that everything has stopped.

He told that the part of my seat in which the aircraft was, it must have hit the lower of the building. Perhaps I fell down with the seat. I got out very hard and then I was admitted to the hospital.
