Russian president vladimir putin: Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated the efforts of global leaders in his first public comment on Kiev’s ceasefire proposal. He thanked US President Donald Trump, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Brazilian President Lewis Eneasio Lula Da Silva, and other leaders for their efforts to end the Ukraine-Russia struggle.
At a joint press conference with Belarus President Alexander Luakshhenko on Thursday, Putin said, “We agree with the proposals to end enmity, but this end should be for long -term peace and end the root causes of the crisis.”
