PM Modi on Waqf Bill 2024: Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 has now passed from Rajya Sabha after Lok Sabha. Opposition created a ruckus in both the houses about this bill. On Thursday, April 3, this bill was discussed in the Rajya Sabha and then voting was done. In this, 128 MPs voted in favor of the bill, while 95 opposed it. After passing the bill from the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reacted to this. He has made four consecutive tweets on social media platform ‘X’.

It shows how important it is to talk together.”

PM Modi further said, “There was a lack of transparency and responsibility in the Waqf system for many years, especially Muslim women, poor Muslims and Pasmanda society. Now the laws that have passed will make this system more transparent and protect the rights of the people.” He further said, “We are now entering a new era, where the system will be more modern and justified. Our goal is to get respect and equality. By following this path we will make a strong, along with everyone and will create a compassionate India.”
