PM Modi Honoured Center of Jain Saint Vidyanand Says India Support Operation Sindoor Received Blesings Acharya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday (June 28, 2025) that India is the most ancient lively civilization in the world due to the immortal ideas and philosophy of its saints and sages. Addressing the birth centenary celebrations of Jain spiritual guru Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj Ji, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to him and recalled his contribution in various fields. The Prime Minister said that many welfare schemes of the government are inspired by the views of Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj.

He said that whether it is providing houses, providing drinking water or health insurance, the government is ensuring that its welfare schemes reach every person, so that no one is deprived of it. Prime Minister Modi also mentioned the address of a Jain saint given before his address, who was appreciating ‘Operation Sindoor’.

The basic spirit of service and humanity in India

In his address, the Prime Minister, while referring to ‘Operation Sindoor’, said as soon as he said, ‘Joe will tease us …’, then the people present there started loudly. However, Modi did not talk more about this. The Prime Minister said that India is a country where service and humanity are at the center of its basic spirit.

He said, ‘Thousands of years ago, when the world chose the path to answer violence from violence, India introduced the world to the strength of’ non -violence ‘. We have kept the spirit of serving humanity paramount. Our way of serving is unconditionally and beyond selfishness and is inspired by charity.

These plans show the spirit of service

In his address, he said that his government is working with inspiration from these ideas. He said, ‘Whether it is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana or other such welfare schemes, they all show the’ spirit of service ‘towards the last line person of the society.’

Prime Minister Modi said that everyone should come together and move forward. This is the inspiration of Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj Ji and this is our resolve. The program was held at Vigyan Bhawan and the Ministry of Culture organized it to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of one of the most prestigious Jain spiritual leaders, scholars and social reformers of the country in collaboration with Lord Mahavir Ahimsa Bharti Trust, Delhi.

The field of literature, music contributes significantly

The ministry said, “He attained initiation at an early age and became one of the most prominent Jain scholars of modern times, who remembered more than 8,000 Jain agronic verses.” He wrote more than 50 compositions on Jain philosophy and morality, including Jain philosophy, richism and Mokshanarg Darshan. Modi appreciated the legacy of Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj Ji and revival of Prakrit language, renovation of many ancient temples and his contribution in the field of literature, music.

He insisted that the speech of Indian Tirthankaras, saints and sages, their teachings are equally relevant in different ages. Praising the Jain saint, known as “Yuga Purush” and “Yuga Era West”, Modi emphasized that through his literature and music he has tried to revive the ancient Prakrit language. This is the language of the teachings of Lord Mahavira. The ancient texts of Jainism are written in this language.

Promote mother tongue

Modi said, ‘Our campaign to digitize ancient manuscripts includes religious texts related to Jainism and manuscripts associated with masters. We want to move further on this subject. He said that mother tongues are being promoted even in higher education.

In his address, he again emphasized that his government has resolved to free the country from the “mentality of slavery”. He repeated his nine resolutions and urged people to follow them. These resolutions are, saving water, planting a tree in memory of mother, promoting the use of local products, traveling to different places of the country, adopting natural farming, adopting healthy lifestyle, adopting sports and yoga and helping the poor.
