BSNL 4G service has been launched. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the Swadeshi 4G network of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). PM Modi has launched these networks from Jharsuguda in Odia. It is being described as an important step for the Indian telecom sector.
BSNL’s 4G network has been launched on completion of 25 years of the company. Its purpose is to deliver better connectivity to rural areas of the country. Where private telecom operators were offering 4G service for a long time and are now upgrading to 5G. At the same time, the official launch of BSNL 4G has now taken place. BSNL has been involved in this race.
2 million new subscribers will join
At the launch of BSNL 4G, officials have described it as a milestone for Digital India. He told that 20 lakh new subscribers will be connected with this service. The company says that the rollout of the Swadeshi 4G network is according to the Prime Minister’s Digital India Vision. This will make way for the company’s 5G upgrade.

With the launch of BSNL 4G, PM Modi has also inaugurated 97,500 mobile towers, in which 92,600 will work on 4G. It has cost about 37 thousand crores to build these tower. These towers work entirely on Indian technology. In this program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Odisha will play an important role in India’s development story.
Upgrade will be done easily
He said, ‘Nature has given a lot to Odisha. Odisha has faced difficulties for several decades, but this decade will lead Odisha towards prosperity. The central government has recently approved two semiconductor units for Odisha and a semiconductor park will also be built here.

According to BSNL officials, this network is cloud based and can also be upgraded in future. According to the company, more than 26,700 villages will be connected to this project, out of which 2472 are included in Odisha. The purpose of this expansion is to increase digital access, people’s participation and communication.
